The Bungalows
This cosy rustic resort was created 2 years ago on the hillside of Lonely Beach. In this short space of time the resort has become very popular and has received many positive reviews on well known travel sites such as Tripadvisor. The resort is full for the high season (November to April) but still receives a strong flow of guests during the fringe seasons
Part of the success is due to the location on the hillside of Lonely Beach, close enough to the beach, shops and the party scene but far enough away for some rest and relaxation. The bungalows and restaurant are surrounded by beautiful gardens and the sounds of the forest. (Many guests walk-in after leaving the beach front bungalows due to the poor condition of the bungalows there and the noise from the parties.)
There are 12 spacious fan bungalows, all ensuite, 10 with cold water and 2 with hot water. All bungalows have a balcony. The bungalows are currently let for 400 – 500 baht/night. Permission and plans are already in place for a further 8 bungalows.
There is the “the lodge”, originally built to be a bar but now converted into a large living space for the owners. There is also a restaurant with a large kitchen, stock room and 2 toilets.
The staff quarters consists of 3 rooms and 2 toilets and 1 showers. There is also a laundry room and large storage room.
We currently have a 15 year land rental contract at 240,000 baht per year with 12 years left in place. However the new owners will be able to start a new contract with the landlord with the option for a 30 year lease.
The resort will be sold with all current fixtures, fittings and equipment included. The resort is in excellent condition, no major renovations or repairs are required to any of the buildings.
