April 2012 – Update.  These units are proving to be very popular.  Around 50% already sold – this is before they have been widely advertised. There are still a couple of the top floor units remaining.  If you are interested in Freehold ownership, bear in mid it is on a  ‘first come, first served’ basis and only 49% of units can be owned this way under Thai law.  Planning and construction permits have been obtained and construction will begin in May 2012.

To allow owners to fully enjoy the facilities that Koh Chang has to offer, each condominium will be allocated  complimentary membership to the Island Life Leisure and Sea Sports Club. This will provide a 50% discount for the use of  kayaks, speedboats, 60 foot motorboat, fishing boats and excursions. In the event that owners have a surfeit of guests, they can reserve rooms (subject to availability) at the resort at a 50% discount on the rack rate. Other facilities are being planned for the and members will receive the same 50% discount on these.

(1)  20,000 Baht non refundable reservation fee payable to secure the unit for a period of 14 days.

This small business is located on the main road close to Kai Bae village and several resorts at the southern end of Klong Prao beach. It is in an area with several small businesses, bars and restaurants and attracts regular clients plus tourists.

There are seven workstations all of which have LCD monitors and are set up for internet usage.  Most also have webcams and headsets for Skype or video chat. This equipment along with all other fixtures and fittings is included in the sale. Wifi is also available for customers with their own laptops. Printing and scanning services are also available.

The glass fronted office is well lit with a lightbox outside.  Drinks are also sold to customers.

This easy to run bar is located on the main road within a few minutes walk of several large hotels and resorts. All fixtures & fittings are included e.g. pool table, furniture, fridge, chairs etc.  The bar is 4m x 10m on the inside with an outside area with main road frontage of 5m x 6m. There is a good view of the jungle clad hillside from the front of the bar.  The bar caters to both tourists and the local expat community.

At the rear, there is also a separate small house with accommodation for the owner or staff. This has two rooms, approx 3m x 5m.

These houses are located in a quiet residential area, off the main road, and less than 5 minutes walk from Kai Bae beach, shops and restaurants. There are five detached homes plus four semi-detached.

The houses all have two bedrooms, although the smaller ones are better suited to having one room used as a bedroom and the other as a study / work room. Houses also all have two bathrooms with the master bedroom being ensuite. In addition there is a living room with kitchen area. Not ideal for cooking every meal but fine for occasional use and plenty of room for gas hob, microwave, fridge etc. Cheap restaurants are a close by and also shops that sell fresh fruit, vegetables, meat etc.

In addition there are four 1 bedroom apartments available, also fully furnished for people who don’t require as much space.

The houses & apartments can be rented from 1 – 6 months or longer.  Priority is given to people wanting to rent longterm. All units have a parking area and small garden.   Rental prices include free wi-fi internet, free water and free  cable TV.   Electricity is charged at 10 Baht/unit.
