This 1.5 Rai plot of land has a ‘Chanote’ title and is located on one of the highest points on Koh Mak and has great views south towards Koh Kood.
Access to the land is by two new ( built in mid 2016 ) concrete roads. The main beaches on the island are under 5 minutes scooter ride or 15 minutes by bicycle. There is also a small beach under 200 metres walk from the land.
The land is a rough rectangular shape (approx) 35 / 40m x 77m.
The current owners, who live permanently on Koh Mak, planned to build a home on the land. They have planted a wide variety of tropical plants on the land, including Lelawadee, coconut palms, Yellow bamboo etc .
This large garden area is irrigated by an automatic sprinkler system. Electricity is already connected to the land and there is a building permit already in place for a house. This can easily be modified to suit a new design.
This would also be a great spot for a boutique resort or hideaway type of yoga / spiritual retreat.
Why Koh Mak?
The island is being promoted widely by the government as the ideal ‘Low Carbon’ destination in Thailand. This will lead to an increased awareness of the island and aims to attract people who enjoy a more laid back, simpler, eco-friendly lifestyle to stay or live there.
