Ideal for small residential or spa project that requires privacy and sea access. This land is located in the northwest of Koh Chang and overlooks the luxury Siam Royal View development which is only a few hundred metres away. The land slopes from the access road at the rear down through a 3 Rai area of protected mangroves. In front of the mangroves are two old fisherman’s houses and a pier where the current owners moor three fishing boats.
The 6 rai of Chanote land can easily be subdivided, making it ideal for a small housing development. The 3 Rai of mangroves have a Por Bor Tor 5 title deed and are protected so cannot be developed or cut down. However, the owner has got permission to build wooden walkways through the mangroves to connect the Chanote land with the fisherman’s houses at the front.
The two fisherman’s houses are occupied by the local family that owns the land and who still make their living from fishing. They are at the mouth of the estuary. A pier, where fish are dried stretches into the water in front of the houses and the families fishing boats are moored at the entrance to the pier.
The pier from the luxury Aiyapura Resort is approx 500 metres away. Directly opposite, on the other side of the river estuary, are plots for sale through Siam Royal View.
