The condo is owned Leasehold in a foreign name. The original 30 year lease ( the longest permitted under Thai law ), was signed in 2011 and has 23 years remaining. This can then be extended for two additional 30 year periods – as stipulated by the developer in the original sales contract.
Annual maintenance fees of 60 Baht/Sqm/month, which is a total of 43,200 Baht / year for a 60 Sqm unit. This is paid annually in advance in January.
The fees are used for: garbage collection; maintenance of common property; road maintenance; cleaning of common areas; street lighting; landscaping; electricity for common areas; swimming pool maintenance etc
