Ideal for a Resort
19 Rai, 500 metres unspoilt beachfront, Nor Sor 3 title, Sunset views on Koh Kood. Land ideal for luxury resort.
In March 2008 the Thai government announced a plan to bring more tourism and development to Koh Kood, the fourth largest island in Thailand but home to only 1,800 residents. The aim is to turn the island into an eco-friendly version of Samui with public money spent on essential infrastructure such as a small airport, power and water plants, garbage disposal, roads etc.
However, most of the beachfront had has already been sold, so finding relatively small plots suitable for a housing development or luxury resort are rare.
This plot is owned by a local businessman. It is located on Ao Phrao Bay at the southwestern tip of Koh Kood. Electricity and water supply are available. Access is by dirt road at present. At the rear of the land s a hillsde which has no title deeds and cannot be developed. The land has approx 500 metres of coconut fringed beachfront and sunset views and is roughly 60 metres deep. The photos below were taken at high tide.
